About Sole Fitness S77 Non-Folding Treadmill

If the Sole S77 ticks all your boxes, you are going to need a spacious room in your home gym. This treadmill is huge and doesn’t fold, so you’ll need to ensure that it doesn’t get in your way. This treadmill is super durable and can withstand continuous use by multiple users. However, you should not expect a lot of modern technology in this model. The Sole S77 allows runners of different fitness levels to experience running at their own speed.

This treadmill allows you to adjust incline automatically to maintain the target heart rate, allowing you to focus on effective workouts. It also comes with a sturdy yet quiet design that guarantees you a more comfortable workout.

If you want dozens of workouts and advanced console features, like HD displays or touchscreens, the S77 treadmill isn’t your best bet. But if you’re looking for a durable, easy-to-use treadmill that can give high-end machines a run for their money, then this is a great choice. With a large motor and a sturdy, supportive frame, you can comfortably use this machine for extended periods of time.

What I Like:

Design:

The Sole S77 is well-known for intensive conditioning, so it functions well for multi-user households or high-volume training. It has steel side and cross beams that support the deck, while the steel handrails with a spongy overlay, powder-coated uprights, and a reinforced console keep the machine sturdy. What’s more, both the S77 motor and chassis are commercial grade.

With this treadmill, you will get all the basics, including speed and incline ranges, pre-programmed workouts, heart rate monitoring, and Bluetooth compatibility. However, this model doesn’t have a big touchscreen display or lots of streaming options, but you will get a durable, built and accommodating track.

Technology:

This treadmill has a vibrant 9-inch LCD with windows for incline, speed, distance traveled, pulse, time, and pace. The console boasts a ¼-mile track peak-and-valley graph for different programs, as well as an integrated sound system for listening to your MP3 player or iPod.

The best thing about this machine is that it comes with an integrated message board that shows you the treadmill features or workouts. Other impressive features include built-in cooling fans, a 10-amp circuit breaker, armrest speed and incline controls.

Performance:

The S77 is ideal for cardio conditioning and heavy training and can support up to 400 pounds. This treadmill is extremely quiet when in use- apart from the foot noise, the motor is almost silent. The rollers and belt guarantee a smooth feel underfoot, and the reinforced frame keeps the treadmill stable even at the highest speed settings.

Exercise programs:

The Sole S77 comes with six automatic programs and two customizable programs. The six preloaded programs include Hill, Manual, Cardio, Fatburn, HIIT, and Strength. The workout programs control the machine’s speed and incline, and you can set for different time lengths.

Storage:

This treadmill doesn’t fold up. The frame doesn’t fold and is not designed to be moved regularly. Fortunately, it has wheels under the frame so you can roll it when needed, but this machine should be placed where you plan to use it. This is a great choice for those with sufficient home gym space.

Weight Capacity:

This Fitness Sole treadmill has a weight capacity of 400 lbs. Sole is well-known for its heavy and durable treadmills, making them ideal for heavy runners.

Warranty:

Sole S77 Treadmill Review

With this treadmill, you will get a lifetime warranty on the motor, deck, and frame; 2 years on labor, and five years on the belt, electronics, rollers, and other wear components.

What I don’t like

  • Large size: This treadmill is quite large and may not suit runners with limited space.

My Verdict:

If you’re serious about your long-term fitness goals and want a treadmill that can handle your level of intensity, the S77 is a great choice. However, if your space is limited, a foldable treadmill could be a better option for your fitness needs.
